Hello there! The Fantsunekos species are a open and friendly community, but we still have some rules we'd like you all as the community to follow! Here are some things you should know before and after you have made your own Fantsuneko, so please read the following steps carefully! Some rules have been updated to be up-to-date for 2018, rather than the same rules from 2016!

Q: Can I make my own Fantsuneko?
A: Yes, Fantsunekos are a Semi-Open Species! This means you can always, at any time, make your own personal character of this species!
Q: What are Traits?
A: Traits differ a Fantsuneko from others by rarity, like many species have an appearance which you see more often than others. For example some Fantsunekos may have short hair appear around more often than the very few that have long hair, etc. The traits make out how rare the appearance of the Fantsuneko in this species is.

Q: Can I use any of the traits?
A: All traits are open to be used by the community! Please remember that only Common and Uncommon traits are free to use. Rare and Epic traits cost will cost you currency on each use, while Restricted Traits are only purchasable during special sales.
Q: How many Fantsunekos can I make?
A: You can make as many as you want to, as there is no limit!
Q: Can I make Fantsunekos and gift them to someone else?
Q: Can I make Fantsuneko adoptables?
A: In normal conditions, only group staff and the founder are allowed to make adoptables. Any other member or other non-member are not allowed to make adoptables. This is due to the violations and missus of the privilege in the past.
Q: Can I design my Fantsuneko after any Theme?
A: Yes, as long the theme is not taken by someone else. All existing themes can be found on the Masterlist.
Q: Can I make a MYO with the same Theme an adopt/another MYO already has?
A: No, the theme can only be taken one time no matter if MYO or adopt/custom.
Q: I cannot design my own Fantsuneko, can I have someone else design it?
A: Yes, but the designer should be prepared to make changes in case something is missing!
Please note that you cannot pay someone to design your Fantsuneko unless the designer is an admin! Basically, if someone wanted their friend to design it for them, it has to be free.

Q: Do I always have to add Glowing Beads, a Collar, a Bell, and the Cheek Markings?
A: Yes, every Fantsuneko wears this as a sign as what species it is, otherwise it is not a Fantsuneko or could be mistaken with one of the many other Closed Species with fantails. We would like to be unique and stand out on our own!
Q: Am I allowed to co-own my Fantsuneko with someone else?
A: Yes, you have the option to co-own your Fantsuneko with up to two more people.
That means one Fantsuneko can be owned by 3 different accounts in total.
Q: The Theme I wanted to use is taken, can I make something similar?
A: Yes, as long it is not a blunt copy of an existing approved Fantsuneko. It must have a different Theme name, worded differently is fine. For example, we have 3 Valentines-related Fantsunekos, but all three of them have very different appearances and have different Theme names.
Q: Can my Fantsuneko have any color?
A: Yes, Fantsunekos come in all varieties of colors, patterns, and materials!
Please make sure that your Fantsuneko doesn't have the same exact markings of other existing characters no matter the species. Copying a character can result in drama, shit storms, or witch hunts, which we wish to avoid at all costs.

Q: Which currencies can be used to pay for rarer traits?
A: You can pay with points, NekoCoins or US$ via PayPal.
Q: How can I get NekoCoins?
A: You can get NekoCoins from drawing your Fantsuneko or multiple for the Monthly Prompt! Or you can pay points for NekoCoins.

- I designed my Fantsuneko, what now? -
Q: Now my Design is finished, can I post it?
A: You can post it to your sta.sh, gallery, or somewhere else but please show it to the Staff of this group on the Masterlist. There we have a form to fill out. We will then approve it, or say it costs something or something has to be changed/added.

Q: Where do I get my Fantsuneko being approved?
The list will be updated once a character is approved. Simply copy the provided form and fill it out and submit it as a comment on the journal!
Q: Is my Character a Fantsuneko when it is has not been approved yet?
A: Without the approval and being listed on the Masterlist, it is not welcomed within this group or events. For example, you are not permitted to submit art of any unapproved Fantsunekos to the group.
Q: What happens when I used Rare and Epic traits but don't want or can't pay?
A: In this case you have two options.
1. You can change the traits to Common or Uncommon so you don't have to pay anything.
2. You can store your design somewhere, and earn NekoCoins in an event of some sort and pay for the traits with those when you earn enough to pay for the Rare and Epic traits used.
Q: Can I post my unapproved Fantsuneko to the group?
A: No, only approved Fantsunekos are allowed. This has two reasons.
1. it is easier to track the Fantsunekos when they are approved.
2. Approved Fantsunekos are not randomly designed characters with fan tails. Approved Fantsunekos are members of this species that are officially approved and allowed to carry the species traits and general appearance.
Q: Can I send you a Note to have my Fantsuneko design approved?
We ONLY approve characters on the Masterlist and nowhere else.

Q: Can I post my Fantsuneko and the art of it to the group?
A: Yes, there are many folders open just for that! You can post art of your or other's Fantsuneko into Fantsuneko Art, while your Reference Sheets of your Fantsuneko into MYOs. The MYOs folder won't be automatically accepting deviations to prevent people from submitting unapproved Fantsunekos!
Q: Can I resell, trade, or gift my Fantsuneko to someone else?
A: You must be registered on the Masterlist as the owner before you can transfer any ownership!
Customs and adoptables which did cost you points or money are allowed to be resold for what you paid or for less. Moderators or Contributors of the group are allowed to resell their MYO Fantsunekos priced fairly.
Normal members cannot sell their MYO characters without appraisal! If you wish to resell for a higher price than you paid or if you're reselling a traded Fantsuneko, please note the group or Forbidden-Hanyou for Appraisal!
Please be aware your Fantsuneko will need to have extra art to be applicable for Appraisal!

Q: Where can I update when my character has been resold/traded/gifted/basically transferred ownership?
A: You or the new owner can go to the Masterlist, fill out the form for the ownership transferred Fantsunekos and post it as a comment. One of the Admins will 'update' the name on the Masterlist. Please provide proof of any transaction!
Q: How many Fantsunekos can I make and own?
A: You can own as many as you want for now! Please be sure to keep the Masterlist updated though!
Q: Can I redesign my Fantsuneko?
A: You may slightly change things such as color or markings. You can remove or add accessories that are not required by the species trait list themselves. Name and Gender are allowed to be changed freely.
Q: Can I change the Theme?
A: No, the theme will remain the same regardless. There are no exceptions.
Q: Can I change the Traits?
A: Minor edits, such as a small tweaking of a pattern on the cheek markings or a small detail change on a fan tail or any other minor edits are alright. Bigger changes such as whole design and appearance, rarity and traits are only possible in our Fantsuneko Fashion Parlor.
Q: I have a question, where shall I post it?
A: You can post it here in this journal, on the front page of the group or send a note to the founder or the admins! Please don't spam the Masterlist with your questions! They are only there to get characters approved and updated!
Q: I deleted my Fantsuneko voluntarily, what happens now?
A: When we find out that you deleted a character, it gets removed from the Masterlist. The theme used will be available for other people.
Q: My account got deleted/banned, what happens to my Fantsuneko now?
A: The character will stay on the Masterlist with you still listed as the owner. If you have changed your account to a new one, please be sure to provide proof the old account was once yours! If no proof is provided we will not update ownership.
This means your characters won't be revoked or voided if you deactivate or get banned.

GROUP ETIQUETTE
- Do not be rude, disrespectful, or unfair to other members who ask a question. Do not harass anyone because of their opinion, characters, or designs.
- Please do not Mini-Mod.
- If you do find someone who broke a rule, you may kindly point it out to them.
In any case, if they become rude or harsh, please contact an Admin or the group privately and we will take action asap.
- If rules are repetitively broken despite being told before, the user may be blacklisted.
- Blacklisted people cannot participate in group events, sales, or anything involving our group. They are permitted to keep their characters
- If you ever have a question or concern you may contact an Admin or the group privately.
- Only Admins can approve MYO Fantsunekos, please be patient for their reply. If changes or payments need to be made we will tell you accordingly. It is your responsibility to have the currency on hand for traits and to be prepared to make changes to your design in any case.
- Art theft will not be tolerated. If anyone has submitted a stolen piece to the group and claiming art as their own, please report it to the admins.
- Please remember, just because a character has a similar theme, colors, or ideas to another character should not be treated as a "stolen design." Colors, themes, and ideas CANNOT be copyrighted. However, if the designs in question appear uncannily similar to the point where it seems stolen is when you may report it to the group about it. Please keep in mind, admins may also hold different opinions on the designs you may be reporting, and it is their decision to take action or not.
- If you find someone who is not an Admin selling Fantsuneko adopts without permission, please send the appropriate information to the group. However, please do not report normal fan tail adopts to the group.
- Submit your submissions to the appropriate folder! If you aren't sure where it belongs you can ask!
